Sales Manager: Financial Advisors

Sanlam Group seeks a Sales Manager in Umhlanga, KZN. Lead high-performing financial advisors and drive regional sales growth.

Key Responsibilities (Brief):

  • Sales & Growth: Develop and execute sales plans to achieve regional targets and drive business growth.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and develop established Financial Advisors (FAs with >24 months experience).
  • Recruitment: Recruit experienced Financial Intermediaries to expand the team.
  • Compliance & Risk: Manage business retention and ensure full regulatory adherence (FAIS/Treating Customers Fairly).
  • Operational Management: Oversee quality, productivity, budgets, and general practice management.

Requirements (Brief):

  • Extensive Financial Services Sales/Marketing and Management experience.
  • Relevant Diploma/Degree (Management, Commercial, or Finance).
  • Mandatory: CFP/RFP3 or equivalent (120 credits) and RE (Regulatory Exam).
  • Deep knowledge of financial products, regulatory legislation, and business planning.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and financial management software.
