Role overview
Medirite Courier Pharmacy — a division of Shoprite Group, one of Africa’s largest retail employers with a broad footprint and strong training culture — is looking for a qualified Post-Basic Pharmacist Assistant to support pharmacy operations. You’ll help the pharmacist with dispensing medications under supervision, handle stock control, support administrative pharmacy tasks, assist with front shop service (helping customers), and ensure general housekeeping and organisation in the pharmacy area.

Requirements:
- Qualified as a Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant.
- Registered as a Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant with the South African pharmacy council.
Experience:
Two years+ experience working in a similar role.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Customer service orientated
- Dispensing knowledge
- Knowledge of dispensing systems and ordering systems
- Knowledge of Retail/ FMCG operations
