The Health Department at MASAKHANE PROVINCIAL LAUNDRY AND COOK FREEZE FACTORY are seeking for a qualified food technology to make sure there is food production and meet hygienic at the hospital and quality standards. This isn’t clinical patient care — it’s ensuring safe, nutritious food gets made and served properly to support patient care. You’ll apply food tech skills to keep hygiene systems strong, manage pest control and sterilisation, test products, support inventory and stock checks, train staff on food safety, and follow procedures like ISO and HACCP. Good quality and safe food isn’t just a check-box — it’s part of keeping people healthy as they heal.

Requirements
- National Diploma in Food Technology or equivalent (3years). NQF level 6, B Tech Food Technology will be ab added advantage Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
- Certificate in FSSC 22000 and / HACCP will be an added advantage
- Skill and Competences.Â
- valid Driver’s license.
Required
- Knowledge of clinical food production pro-cesses and procedures and other relevant legal frameworks i.e. foodstuff, cosmetic and disinfectants Act.
- Knowledge in ISO 90001
- Occupational Health & Safety Act Patients’ rights Charter, Batho Pele principles. Public Service Regulation, Public service Act.
- Good communication Skills and Computer skills. Driver’s license is a requirement.
Duties
- Ensure hygiene standards and policies are implemented in the Factory.
- Ensure pest control policy and schedule is Implemented.Â
- Ensure that all laboratory equipment is clean and sterilised daily. Assist with continuous control and supervision on hygiene practice in the factory.
