About the role
This is a senior emergency medicine role where you’ll be diagnosing, treating, and overseeing patient care in the Emergency Department. You’ll also support clinical meetings, handle medico-legal documents, lead quality-of-care improvements, and help train junior doctors. You’ll manage emergency patients, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, ensure records and legal forms are completed, support teaching and research, and participate in continuous care (including nights and weekends)
Requirements
- You must hold an MBChB degree
- Be registered with the HPCSA as an independent medical practitioner
- Have at least 10 years’ experience
- Ideally with emergency medicine skills (ACLS/ATLS experience is a bonus).
