About the role
Work at a busy hospital reception and admin hub supporting the manager’s office. This job is about keeping things organized, handling communication, and helping ensure the office runs smoothly.You’ll manage diaries and correspondence, handle phone calls and visitors, prepare meeting docs, type letters/reports, make travel arrangements, process claims, and support basic office admin. Operating standard office equipment and handling confidential information is part of the day too.
What they want from you
You need a Grade 12 certificate and be comfortable with Word, Excel, PowerPoint — computer literacy matters here. Good typing, communication, telephone etiquette and people skills are essential. They prefer candidates with around 12 months experience as a secretary, especially in a hospital setting, and admin or secretarial training is a plus.
