EatFresh, part of the Tsebo Solutions Group, is looking for an Area Manager to oversee multiple industrial catering sites in the Western Cape. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, visiting sites, and making sure daily operations are running smoothly and professionally. Its a permanent position.
The Area Manager will support site managers, ensure service and food quality standards are maintained, and build strong working relationships with clients. You’ll also be responsible for making sure health, safety, and hygiene standards are followed at all sites.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting site teams, monitoring daily operations, and ensuring service standards are met across all allocated sites. The role includes regular site visits, client interaction, safety and hygiene checks, and reporting on operational performance to the operations manager
Skills and Competencies:
This role requires strong people skills, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple sites at the same time. You should be organised, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills are important, especially using Word, Excel, and email. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail will help you succeed in this role.
Qualifications and Experience:
Applicants must have a Grade 12 (Matric) qualification. A certificate or diploma in operations management, hospitality, or a related field will be an advantage. You should have 2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably managing more than one site or team. A valid driver’s licence and reliable transport are essential due to travel between sites.
