New Bridge Graduate Institute is seeking for a qualified and career driven lecture that is going to teach everything in the Arts (Psychology) department. The lecture is responsible to help students to grasp the content of this subject. This include but not limited to lecturing, academic support, feedback to students, conducting practical tutorials, marking and etc. These is a mid-senior level position.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong subject knowledge in this fields.
- Clear communication skills.
- Digital literacy and ability to engage with students.
- Good time management, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt and support diverse students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver lectures, workshops and tutorials.
- Update and design course content and instructional materials.
- Use various teaching methods to support different learning styles.
- Create and administer exams and assignments, mark work, and give helpful feedback.
- Track and record student progress.
- Offer academic advice and be available for consultation.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and improvement.
- Stay current with developments in the field.
- Do administrative tasks like attendance, grading, and reporting.
- Take part in department committees and initiatives as needed.
- Promote an inclusive and respectful classroom environment.
Requirements
Post Graduate Degree/ a Diploma at NQF LEVEL 8 with Psychology module (s)
Prior lecturing experience in person and online will be an advantage.
