New Bridge Institution is seeking an independent contractor lecture to teach in the Diploma in Nature Management at Gauteng Centurion (Highveld) -entry level position.
The Main purpose of the Role
The lecture will be responsible for delivering and designing tutorials, leading discussions, running practical sessions to help learners understand the course curriculum. The role includes teaching, providing academic support, marking of assessments, evaluating Student progress.
Responsibilities
Deliver lectures, workshops and tutorials.
Update and design course content and instructional materials.
Use various teaching methods to support different learning styles.
Create and administer exams and assignments, mark work, and give helpful feedback.
Track and record student progress.
Offer academic advice and be available for consultation.
Contribute to curriculum planning and improvement.
Stay current with developments in the field.
Do administrative tasks like attendance, grading, and reporting.
Take part in department committees and initiatives as needed.
Promote an inclusive and respectful classroom environment.

Qualifications
- An Honours degree (NQF Level 8) or
- higher in Botany, Ecology, Soil Sciences or related field.
- Prior lecturing experience (in-person and online) is an advantage.
